1. Services

We provide professional tree services including, but not limited to:

•  Tree trimming, pruning, and shaping

•  Tree removal and stump grinding

•  Tree planting and transplanting

•  Emergency storm damage response

•  Cabling and bracing

•  Site cleanup and debris removal

All services are performed by trained, insured personnel using appropriate equipment. We reserve the right to refuse any job that we deem unsafe, illegal, or outside our scope of expertise.

2. Estimates and Pricing

•  Written Estimates: We will provide a written estimate based on a site visit or detailed description. Estimates are valid for [e.g., 30 days] from the date issued.

•  Scope Changes: Additional work requested or discovered during the job (e.g., hidden decay, additional hazards) will require a change order and may adjust the price.

4. Client Responsibilities and Access

•  Inform us of any underground utilities, irrigation lines, septic systems, or hidden hazards.

•  Secure or remove any personal property that could be damaged.

•  Obtain any necessary permits or permissions from neighbors or local authorities if required.

•  Keep children, pets, and unauthorized persons away from the work area.

5. Liability and Insurance

•  We carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation as required by law. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

•  Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of use, lost profits).

•  You are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to disclose hazards or provide proper access.

6. Property Damage and Tree Health

•  Tree work inherently carries risks. We take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee against incidental damage to lawns, driveways, fences, or structures.

•  We are not liable for damage to underground utilities unless you have properly marked them (e.g., via 811 call).

•  Trees are living organisms. We provide no guarantee that a treated or pruned tree will not decline or die due to factors beyond our control (drought, disease, pests, etc.).

7. Warranty

•  We offer a [e.g., 1-year] warranty on workmanship for pruning and removal services, subject to proper maintenance by the Client.

•  Stump grinding and planting services may have separate, limited warranties.

•  Warranties do not cover damage from storms, animals, vehicles, or neglect.

8. Debris Removal and Cleanup

•  Standard jobs include removal of cut limbs and basic cleanup. Bulk wood chipping, hauling away large logs, or additional cleanup may incur extra charges.

•  We can leave wood chips or logs on-site at your request (subject to local regulations).

9. Permits and Compliance

You are responsible for obtaining any required local permits unless we explicitly agree in writing to handle them (additional fees apply). We comply with all applicable industry standards (e.g., ANSI A300, ISA Best Management Practices).

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement for material breach with written notice. You remain responsible for payment for services already performed.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will first attempt informal resolution. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of [Your County/City], [Your State].

12. General Provisions
